COCKLIN FUNERAL HOME
Edward B. Singer, 61, of Dillsburg, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at his home. He was born May 28, 1949, in Mifflintown, PA, the son of the late Jay and Joyce (Hess) Singer. Edward was a retired owner and operator of JPS Tires. He was also a member of the South Mountain V.F.W. Post #6771, Dillsburg. Edward is survived by his wife of 42 years, Jan C. (Page) Singer; two sons, Jay E. Singer of Phenix City, AL and Theodore B. Singer of Dillsburg; and one daughter, Beth A. Singer of Dillsburg. He also leaves behind three grandsons. Edward was also preceded in death by one brother, Danny Singer and one sister, Patricia Vaughn. Memorial services will be held Monday, November 22, 2010, at 10:30 am in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg, with the Rev. Lois Van Orden officiating.
