Edward C. Randolph, 71, of Cleveland, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, December 8, 2010. He was born October 8, 1939, in North Olmsted and was a life-time resident of Cleveland.

Edward graduated from West Tech High School and in 1959 he joined the United States Marine Corps and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan where he served his country until 1964.

Edward was an electrician, working with different foundries over the years. He was an avid reader and enjoyed just being out in nature, especially the Metro Parks and the Cuyahoga Valley National Forest where he would find comfort in long walks. He frequented University Circle and appreciated spending time at all of the museums. He was described as a music fan and also spent countless hours debating various topics with his brothers via e-mail. Most of all Edward enjoyed being part of a large family which also included his dogs Lucy, Aries, and Daisy.

Edward will be greatly missed by many, but mostly by his family: his wife of 46 years Patricia L. (nee Luzius); six children Barbara Randolph, Patricia Cianci, Cheryl Randolph, Edward, Jr., William (Sharon) and Sean; 20 grandchildren Charlene (Donny), Amanda, Raquel, Corrine, Louis, Nicholas, Sean, Michael, Edward, Brandon, Jacob, Liam, Ian, Ethan, Michaela, William, Aaron, Gage, Aiden, Alyssa and 2 great granddaughters Raven and Victoria. In addition he is survived by brothers and sisters William (Dolores), Daniel, John (Josephine), Robert McClure, Gary, Cheryl (James) and Samuel (Anna) and is preceded in death by his parents William and Lucille (nee Foster) Randolph, brother Bob Randolph, and two sisters Dorothy Luzius and Evelyn Williamson.
Memorial Contributions may be made at any Charter One bank in Mr. Randolph’s name.

We will be receiving guests at our home for a celebration of our father’s life, and we are looking forward to seeing all family and friends.
Visitation will start Tuesday the 14th and Wednesday the 15th of December at 12 noon till 8 pm both days. Call Barb at 1-440-343-1646.
