Edward Christopher 'Chris' Jarabeck, 44, of Charleroi, formerly of Monessen, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 in his home, with his loving family at his side. He was born August 29, 1964 in Great Falls, Montana. A Monessen native and a 1983 Monessen High School graduate, he was also a U.S. Navy veteran Chris was a member of the former St. Cajetan Roman Catholic Church, now Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church of Monessen. He enjoyed fixing and messing with cars, cooking and gardening. He is survived by his mother Mildred 'Millie' Klisowski and husband Chuck, two sons, Stephen Christopher Jarabeck and Wesley Jarabeck, his fiance, Pamela Cercone, with whom he made his home, one sister, Diannna Jarabeck Ferrara and husband Bart, two brothers, Clarence Scott Turner and wife Brenda, and Payton Turner and girlfriend Tina, his good friend, Doc, as well as, numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Joseph Jarabeck, stepfather, Clarence Turner Sr., grandparents, Betty Parrish Black, Sophia Gladys Jarabeck, great grandparents, Payton and Nina Parrish, stepgrandmother, Minerva Turner and his aunt, Patty Lepresti. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 P.M. Monday in the Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon (724-929-5300) www.FergusonFuneralHomeAndCrematory.com. A prayer service will be in the funeral home at 9 P.M. Monday with Rev. David J. Nazimek officiating. Interment will be in the Cemetery of the Alleghenies. The family would like to thank the Veterans Hospital in Oakland and the Albert Gallatin Hospice for their compassion.
