Edward Gregg Sahr, Sr., 64, passed away March 6, 2011, in his home. Born in Portsmouth, VA, he was the son of the late Elmer and Helen Sahr. He retired from Civil Service as an Aircraft Electrician Supervisor after 28 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Alice D. Sahr; his daughter, Kris Adrienne Chrisemer and husband Sean of Norfolk, VA; two sons, Edward G. Sahr, Jr. and wife Crystal of Virginia Beach, VA and Frederick Neal Sahr and wife Alicin of Tennessee; two sisters, Kathy and Karen; a brother, Steve; and five grandchildren, Cayla, Abigail, Clay, Ellie and Lauren. A memorial service will be conducted Sunday, March 20th at 4 p.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Lung Cancer Society. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
