Edward Joseph Cook, Sr., 57, of Portsmouth, VA, passed away September 13, 2010, in a local hospital. A native of Queens, New York, he was the son of the late Adam and Frances Cook. He was formerly owner and operator of Tip-Top Painting for 5 years and was a US Air Force veteran. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Cook; three daughters, Christina Hughes and husband Richard of Chesapeake, VA, Jennifer Ramirez and husband Tony and Angela Cook, all of Portsmouth, VA; his son, Edward Cook, Jr. of Portsmouth, VA; a sister, Jean Lambeth of Portsmouth, VA; a brother, Donald Lambeth of Chesapeake, VA; and seven grandchildren, Jessica, Brianna, Teirra, Edward III, Corey, Aaliyah and Eli.
