Edward O. Galloway, Jr., 62, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Monday December 27, 2010 at La Porte Hospital. He was born October 22, 1948 in LaPorte, Indiana, the son of Edward O. Galloway, Sr. and Shirley J. (Schweder) Galloway. Edward was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. He was one of the first clients with Michiana Resources. Edward was an avid White Sox fan and loved painting and making greeting cards on his computer. He is survived by his parents, Edward and Shirley Galloway of LaPorte, IN.; sister - Linda (Ernie) Livinghouse of La Porte, IN; niece - Julie (Mike) Kirkham; nephew - Randy Livinghouse; five great nieces and nephews, Brittney, Nick, Jordyn, Morgan, Madeline, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Edward was preceded in death by his grandparents, and several aunts and uncles. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Thursday, December 30, 2010 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm & Friday, December 31, 2010 9:00 am until time of service. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Friday December 31, 2010 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Ronald A. Brauer and Rev. Carl Galloway officiating. Interment will follow at the Heckman Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the Michiana Resources 4315 E. Michigan Blvd. Michigan City, IN 46360 or St. John Lutheran Church 111 Kingsbury Ave. LaPorte, IN 46350.
