Edward R. Muchmore, age 84, of Clark, passed away on Thursday December 8, 2011, at the Cranford Health and Extended Care Center. Beloved husband for 63 years of Edith (nee Pfeil). Loving father of Deborah and her husband Jay Scott, Edward H., Eric W. and his wife Marietta, Bonnie and her husband Fred Netschert. Cherished grandfather of Christa and her husband Daniel Currea, Nicole Scott, Julianna, Daniel, Zachary, Elizabeth, and Christina Muchmore, and Jacqueline Netschert. Treasured great grandfather of Matias Currea. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to the Funeral on Monday December 12, 2011, at 8:45 am, from the Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home 211 Westfield Ave. Clark, thence to Osceola Presbyterian Church, Clark, where a Funeral Service will be offered at 9:30 am. Interment, Fairview Cemetery, Westfield. Visitation Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, kindly offer donations to NAMI Union County PO Box 724 New Providence, NJ 07974. To offer condolences please visit www.Krowickigorny.com. Born in East Rutherford, Mr. Muchmore has resided in Clark for 48 years. Mr. Muchmore was the Vice President of O.K. Electric Supply Co. of Perth Amboy for 29 years. He honorably served in the U.S. Navy at the end of WWII. He earned a B.S. degree in engineering from Stevens Institue of Technology. Mr. Muchmore was, one of the founders of the Clark Pool, a former Commissioner of Clark Recreation Commission, a former Cub Master in Clark, on Session for both Osceola and Woodridge Presbyterian Churches, and a former Little League Commisioner in Clark which lead to his namesake Muchmore Little League Baseball Field.
