Edward R. Koepke Edward Richard Koepke, 80, loving husband of 55 years of Jean Herd Koepke of Hamden, passed away Sept. 29, 2011. Father of Cindy Koepke of Hamden; brother of Stanton and his wife Marie Koepke of Middletown; son-in-law of Sylvia J. Warner of Hamden, and brother-in-law of Edward Warner, also of Hamden. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and was predeceased by 3 sisters and 3 brothers. Edward was born in New Haven, May 3, 1931, a son of the late Rudolph and Margaret Ingersol Koepke and served in the US Army from 1952-1954 in Germany. He was employed as a machinist at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft of North Haven for 38 years before retirement in 1995, and resided in Hamden since 1956. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Memorial Service in the Dunbar United Church of Christ, 419 Dunbar Hill Rd, Hamden on Tuesday, October 4th at 4:30 PM. Refreshments to follow in the Parish Hall. Arrangements in care of BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 WHITNEY AVE, HAMDEN.
