Edwin J. "Scotty" Tape, 89. Beloved husband of the late Sheila D. (nee Osborne); loving father of the late Jeffrey; cherished brother of Nancy Hancock (Alfred, deceased); dearest uncle of Martyn Hancock (Susan), Gill Brookman and Graham Hancock; great uncle of 7. Scotty served as a radio mechanic in the Royal Air Force in India; he was an accomplished accordion player. After retiring from US Steel, he worked closely with the dog trainers from the Circus. He volunteered with the Tri-City Senior Center, Strongsville Senior Center and Lakefront Lines. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ridgewood United Methodist Church, 2013 Workcamp, 6330 Ridge Road Parma, OH 44129. Masonic Service at 12:30 Wednesday November 9, 2011, conducted by the Memorial Masonic Lodge followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Friends may visit at the BUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 7501 RIDGE RD. PARMA, one hour prior to the services from 11:30 to 12:30 Wednesday. Interment to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery, Twinsburg. 440-842-7800
