I've known Donna for years. I met Edythe once and I remember vividly the power and spirit of her. There just was this force that I don't remember experiencing before or maybe even since. There was a sheer honesty, generosity and humor about her that hit me like an ocean wave. Donna has it too, but maybe in more subtle and nuanced form. I also know that Donna loved her mom, and she genuinely liked her mom.

Donna, I'm so sorry for your loss; it comes on the heels of my own so I know how it changes one's life.

Although I did not really know Edythe personally I feel that have met her every time you have spoken of her. I know the kindhearted, strong willed, and generous person she was through you. She is responsible for the character you possess and continue to pass down. Edythe will continue to live on this way. My best to you and your family.

I know you will miss her but now your dad and she are together again. I will
always remember their visits to my mom and dad's house. They were both
