EILEEN MALCOLM November 11, 1925 ~ September 26, 2011 Eileen Malcom of Vancouver, WA, passed away on Sept. 26, 2011. She was born to the late Bernard and Ethel Harling, Nov. 11, 1925, Ontario, Canada. She relocated with her parents in her early 20's to Victoria BC where she met, fell in love with and married Douglas G. Malcolm in 1952. They relocated to the NW United States and settled in Vancouver, WA. Eileen started her career working as a bookkeeper and legal secretary in the early 60's law offices of the late State Senator Don Willner, later moving on to Asbury Trucking and finishing up with IBEW local 48 & 125. Eileen was an active member at St. Luke's Episcopal Church. In her twenties she was a member of The Victoria BC Girls Drill team. While living in Vancouver she was very active with the 4-H, helping her children and others with many horse shows and events. She loved to travel taking over a dozen cruises with her late husband and friends. Eileen is by survived by her four children: D. Keith Malcolm of Victoria, Canada, Bernard Malcolm, Joanne Graham, both of Vancouver, WA, and Brian (Jeanne) Malcolm of Mesa, AZ; granddaughters, Michelle Santiago, Breanne and Lauren Graham and Katherine Malcolm; and great-grandchildren, Christopher and Amanda Santiago. Services will be held at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, to be announced, where Eileen and Doug's ashes will lay at rest.
