Mary Elaine Dupuis Stuckey of College Park, Orlando, died December 15, 2011, at the age of 83, at a nursing home, with her daughter by her side. Born February 12, 1928, in Port Arthur, Texas to Mattie & Pierre Dupuis, Elaine was a child prodigy pianist, who traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and held several professions throughout her life. After attending Julliard in New York City, she married William K. Stuckey (1931-1991) and began a successful career as a photographer in her beloved New Orleans, LA. Her most famous photographs were of the 1967 Monterey Pop Festival and 1968 Chicago Police Riots. After settling in Cambridge, Ma, she became a legal Secretary and worked for the retired Archibald Cox at Harvard University for several years before returning to Port Arthur to care for her beloved parents and then finally traveling to Orlando to be near family. Throughout her life she had the most impeccable taste and took great joy in Classical Music, Jazz, Fine Art and only the finest Classic Films. Ms. Stuckey is predeceased by her son, Clayton (1958-1966) and survived by her daughter, Marie Stuckey, her Son-in-Law, John Murphy, and her Granddaughter, Mattie Hill. Visitation will be from 5-8pm, with a wake service at 6pm, Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home, 301 NE Ivanhoe Blvd., Orlando, and Fl 32804 (407)898-8111. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am, Thursday, December 29, 2011 at the St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 526 N Park Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789.
