Elaine R. "Sam" Harp
Greenville, SC
Elaine "Sam" Reynolds Harp, 59, of 406 Pine Knoll Dr., passed away at her home on Tuesday, January 3, 2012, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born July 13, 1952 in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Jabrez E. and Sara Poole Reynolds.
She was a graduate of Winthrop College and was a retired Physical Education Teacher for Greenville County Schools.
She was a member of Northgate Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Michelle Harp and Katie Nisky and her husband, Jered, all of Greenville, SC, a sister, Joan Taylor of Taylors, SC; two brothers, Robert William Reynolds of Kannapolis, NC and Randy Reynolds of Greenville, SC and three grandchildren: Payton Wright, Katherine and Sydney Nisky.
Services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, January 6, 2012 at Northgate Baptist Church with Rev. Barry Jimmerson and Dr. Robert B. Whaley, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Thursday, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at The Mackey Mortuary.
