Eleanor K. Erb, 85, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Woodview Health Care Center in Fort Wayne. Born in Payne, OH, Eleanor was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church. Surviving are her sons, John P (Judy) Erb III of Fort Wayne, Steven (Joanne) Erb of Hudson, FL; sister, Dorothy Walker of Fort Wayne; 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years John "Duke" Erb Jr; 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30am Monday at St. Jude Catholic Church, 2130 Pemberton Drive, Fr. Thomas Shoemaker officiating with calling one hour prior. Visitation is Sunday 2 to 5pm and 7 to 9pm with a 7:30pm Rosary at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue. Burial in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
