Eleanor Jane Lubrick, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2009 . She was born Eleanor Jane DeCenso on Sept 12, 1930 in Youngstown , Ohio . She married her late husband Thomas R. Lubrick in 1952 and had 3 children, Thomas Lubrick, Janis Kobus, and Greg Lubrick. She leaves behind 6 grandchildren; Julie Perry, Aaron Lubrick, Eric Lubrick, Christine Zistler, Carolyn Davis, and Cindy Kobus. Eleanor was the PTO president of Boardman Middle School in the early 1970's. She and her husband moved to Baytown, Tx in 1979. She was very active in the Baytown Art League where she was a member for 8 years. She was the president of the scholarship fund and won many awards for her watercolor art work, including "Best of Show" at the Annual Ribbon Spring Show. She attended St John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Baytown, Tx and was a member of the Ladies of St John where she was the historian. She took up line dancing for several years in Highlands, Tx and leaves many friends behind. A memorial mass will be held at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 800 W. Baker St. in Baytown, TX on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 11:00 am. There will be a memorial dinner at the church following the service. Inurnment will be held at Houston National Cemetery Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at 11:00 am. In Lieu of flowers or plants, the family requests that donations be sent to Eleanor's favorite charities; The Baytown Art League, The Eleanor Lubrick Scholarship Fund, PO Box 43 Baytown, TX 77522, or St John the Evangelist Catholic Church Charity Trust Fund, 800 W.
