Eli Taylor, Jr. was born in St. Louis, Missouri, October 1, 1966. He was the second of four children (Curly, Yolander and Tony Taylor) born to Mattie, nee (Smith) and Eli Taylor, Sr. His mother preceded him in death. Family was important to Eli, especially his marriage. Eli believed that a couple married each other and not the extended families. Although the extended families were important, they should not interfere with ones marriage. Eli was united in Holy Matrimony to Venus nee (Kent) on October 3, 2006. Theirs was a short union of love and happiness. Eli loved to dote on his wife with all kinds of gifts and surprises. He was somewhat of a gently giant. Eli loved working in the yard and spending quiet time with his wife. Eli leaves to cherish his memory: his daughter, Marneisha Deshay, son Molajuwan Deshaya and stepson, Mark Brison; grandchildren, Javon and Naudia Young, Jordan Ward and James Wade and a host of close relatives. Eli graduated from Northwest High School in 1985 and was a well known and dedicated employee of BJC Hospital. This Online Memorial has been created to commemorate the life of Eli Taylor, Jr. You are invited to add a Tribute in his memory.
