Elijah Bee Shepherd, 57, of Portland and formerly of Fort Wayne, passed away Friday, October 29, 2010 at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. The son of Frank and Eliza Shepherd, Bee was born on January 30, 1953 in Winchester, Kentucky. He was a member of Evangelical Methodist Church in Portland, Indiana. Bee is survived by his sister, Patricia Stephens of Portland, Indiana and many nieces, nephews, and cousins . Elijah was preceded in death by parents, Frank and Eliza Shepherd and brothers Alvin Shepherd, and, Jack Shepherd. Funeral service is 10:30 am, Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at D.O. McComb and Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Avenue with calling an hour prior. Rev. Steve Arnold officiating. Calling also on Tuesday, November 02, 2010 from 4:00pm to 8:00 pm.
