Elizabeth J. Brunker, age 77, of Zephyrhills, Florida, formerly, of Knox, Indiana, passed away at 8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 31, 2011, at the Florida Hospital in Zephyrhills. Elizabeth was born on April 24, 1933, in Woodbury Heights, New Jersey, to William and Thelma Dixey. Elizabeth became the bride of Charles O. Thompson in 1959. Charles preceded her in death in 1978. Robert L. Brunker and Elizabeth were married in February of 1982. Elizabeth and Robert were self employed in the swimming pool business. She also had been an executive with RCA. Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Robert Brunker; her son, Paul (Jill) Thompson of Plymouth, Indiana; her daughter, Michelle Lynn Thompson of Zephyrhills; her grandchildren, Alexandria Thompson and Paige Thompson of Plymouth; and her brothers, John Dixey and Bill Dixey both of New Jersey. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles O. Thompson and her brother, Dave Dixey. A time of visiting with the family will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Friday, February 11, 2011, at the Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 West Madison Street, Plymouth, Indiana, 46563. Funeral services will be, Friday, February 11, 2011, at 3:00 p.m., at the Van Gilder Funeral Home, with the Rev. Oliver Dongell, officiating. Burial will be in New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
