Elizabeth Higgs Croft, age 89 of Little Rock, Arkansas died Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at her home. She was born on November 27, 1921 in Sommerville, Tennessee. Elizabeth was a member of the Women's Emergency Committee during the Central High integration crisis and was a lifelong member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her four sons, Clyde Croft, III and his wife Joann of Factoryville, PA, Robert Croft and his wife Jo Ellen of Roland, AR, William Croft and his wife Rhonda of Choctaw, OK and John Croft and his wife Debbie of Little Rock, AR; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Clyde R. Croft, Jr., her parents and two sisters.

Cremation arrangements are by Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home, 5800 W. 12th Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72204 (501) 661-9111. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial park at a later date.
