Elizabeth Kelley Husbands September 5, 1955 ~ September 9, 2010 A memorial service for Elizabeth Kelley Husbands, 55, of Somerville, is set for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at the Pavilion of Oaklawn Cemetery in Somerville with Rev. Vickie Simons officiating. Kelly died suddenly at Burleson-St. Joseph Health Center in Caldwell. She was born September 5, 1955 in Abilene, Texas, the daughter of Fred and Elizabeth (Milan) Husbands. She graduated from High School in Memphis, Tennessee, attended College while she was living in Abilene and Austin and she worked at the Brenham State School. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Melinda and John Ryberg of Salina, Kansas; a sister-in-law, Cindy Husbands of Abilene, Niece, Christina, nephews, Jason, Matthew and Jessie Husbands; and her special second family, consisting of Patsy Kay Like, Tristan Like, Kathryn Like, Anna Killough, Maxine Like, Cecily Like, Joseph Black, and Jayden Young, all of Somerville; along with numerous friends and co-workers. It was Kelley's wish to be cremated and a memorial service be held to celebrate her life. It was also her wish to have memorials be made in her name to PAAWS (Pet Adoption And Welfare Society), C/O Sherri Smith, Secretary/Treasurer, P. O. Box 92, Lyons, TX 77878.
