Elizabeth "Lee" Carducci, 87, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2011 at Lifeline Hospital with family by her side. She was born in Steubenville, Ohio on August 25, 1924, daughter of the late George and Bertha Shimko. She was also preceded in death by her husband Dominic Carducci in 1988, four brothers George, Andrew, Joseph and John and two sisters Anne Lauzara and Mary Malara. Mrs. Carducci was a server for many years at the Weirton Knights of Columbus. She was a member of Saint Joseph the Worker Church, and the Four Seasons. She is survived by two daughters Linda (Wayne) Hutchison and Sharon (Eli) Dragisich. Also surviving are grandchildren Alyssa (Anthony) Rocchio, Jennifer (P.J.) Tokash, Steven (Amy) Dragisich, Christine (Jeremy) Tate and Dominic (fiance' Nedda) Dragisich and very loved great-grandchildren Tessie Tokash, Zak Tokash, Eli Tokash, Jaden Tate, Kaden Dragisich and Ryan Tate. Friends will be received Sunday from 3-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 11AM Monday at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church with the Reverend Father Dean Borgmeyer officiating.
