Elizabeth "Lillian" R. Fuerst (nee Kosek), age 94, a 60 year resident of Seven Hills and wife of the late Edward C. Fuerst, Sr. passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Parma Hospital.

Elizabeth was the loving mother of Edward C. Fuerst, Jr. (Phyllis deceased) of Port Clinton and Sharon Allen of Strongsville. She was the dear grandmother of Lori Koran of Hinckley, Michael Priebe (Kelly) of Medina, Mark Priebe (Alison) of Strongsville, Desiree Fuerst (Diane Long) of Columbus, Tracy Rendina (Frank) of Broadview Heights, Tina Curtan (Gary) Parma, Edward C. Fuerst II (Ann) Strongsville and Lisa Clark of Tennessee. She was also the great-grandmother of Michael, Samantha and Alex Koran, Chaz and Cody Clark, Zachary, Haley and Corutney Priebe, Danielle and Margo Rendina, Mariah and Abigail Fuerst, Xandra, Virginia and Christian Curtan, Madeline and Matthew Priebe and Laeghan Fuerst and great-great grandmother of Sylar Clark. Besides her husband Lilly is preceded in death by an infant son Norman, 3 sisters Helen Muraski (Jospeph), Clara Zdonowicz (Edward) and Martha Skowron (Andy) and 3 brothers Theodore (Stacia), Joseph (Josephine), and Harry (Florence) her parents Joseph and Emily (nee Balszak) Kosek.

Mrs. Fuerst was a charter member of St. Columbkille Catholic Church, Parma and helped organize the Ladies' Guild of which she served as vice president. She worked as a receptionist and biller for Super Market Drug Store, Cleveland the parent company of Medic Drug. She also worked as a biller for Gray Drug Store. In addition to being an active member of her church she was and active member of her community belonging to the Seven Hills Democratic Club and the Seven Hills AARP #4229. She was a precinct committee woman for 40 years, a ward leader for 2 years and worked at the voting polls for 40 years. She loved to travel, read and crochet.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Columbkille Catholic Church, 6740 Broadview Road, Parma, on Saturday, December 31 at 10AM. Please gather at the Church.
