Elizabeth Roxanne Aldridge

It has not been long since we met her, but we quickly came to know that she was of a very decent character from the way she carries her self with dignity and honor. Very out spoken and confident. Simply put she is one of a very rare and good kind we will miss her a lot.

Grandmother was the most positive, and encouraging person I have ever known. No matter how bad the situation, she would find a way to turn it around and give me hope, that everything was going to be ok. I have always told her I want to be just like her when I grow up, and I still strive for that. My grandmother was a southern lady, with class and dignity. Grandmother was the most positive, and encouraging person I have ever known. No matter how bad the situation, she would find a way to turn it around and give me hope, that everything was going to be ok. I will never forget the love she had for her family, it was always unconditional. When my youngest daughter, Mackenzie was born, I was very ill and had to stay in the hospital for quite a while, but grandmother,93 years old at the time, was her full time care taker. She brought her to the hospital to see me every single day, for months. I could never repay her for all she has done for me and my children, but I will do my best to make her smile from heaven. I can't wait to see her again. I know she is in peace now, which is a blessing.

Dear God,
Please let my grandmother know I love her and miss her, and will never forget all she has taught me. I will keep her in my heart forever. I thank you for letting us have her for as long as we did.

I have so many memories of holidays here in California as she came here for many holidays, as well as our childhood visits to Texas. Her Sister (Grenelle - Gay) was my Grandmother, so that makes her my "Great Aunt." I always knew her as "Auntie" and looked forward to the holiday visits and love. I/we miss you Auntie.
