Elizabeth S. Dozier, 82, of the 100 block of Gainesborough Square, Chesapeake, VA, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 28, 2010. Born in Norfolk, VA to the late Holland and Annie Stallings, she was the widow of Hilliard M. Dozier III and had worked as a buyer for the Border Station. We as a family have been blessed by your life and you will be truly missed by all. Mrs. Dozier is survived by a daughter, Patricia Anne Taylor; son, Richard M. Dozier and wife Dawn; three sisters, Margaret Anne Ryan and husband Thomas, Brenda Joyce Smith and husband Michael, and Joyce Marie Forehand and husband Frank; three brothers, Charles W. Mann and wife Sandra, Tommy Stallings and wife Betty, and Raymond Stallings and wife Margie; grandchildren, Adam and Kevin and Nicole Taylor, Brian O'Melia, Jessica Walker, Brandon Dozier, and Shannon Sharples; and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by daughter, Carol Leigh Dozier; brother, Norris Lee Mann; and a granddaughter, Beth O'Melia. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel. Burial will follow in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens.
