Elmo Cawby, 87, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2010 at Parkview Memorial Hospital in Fort Wayne. Born in English Lake, IN, Elmo worked as a Jewelry Manager with Kmart for 20 years, retiring in 1987. He was a member of American Legion Post 54, Napanee In. A WW II U S Army Air Corp Veteran. Also Owned and Operated the Cawby's Watch Shop in North Judson In. Surviving are his Wife, Vera Cawby of Fort Wayne, Daughters, Debora K Bowman of Fort Wayne and Dawne (Steve) Tatman of Berne, IN 2 Grandchildren 2 Great Grandchildren, Brother, Dorwin Cawby of Rensselaer, IN Sister, Lois Comer of Medaryville, IN. Elmo was preceded in death by parents, Frederick D. and Grace A Cawby, 1 Brother, 6 Sisters. Memorial Service to be at a later date. Burial in North Judson In . Memorials may be made to the St Peter's Lutheran Church of Fort Wayne In Building Fund. D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Chapel 4017 Maplecrest Rd. in charge of arrangements.
