Mother Eloise Brown fell asleep in the Master's arms on April 10, 2011 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Rahway, New Jersey. She was born on January 16, 1922 in Boone Hill, North Carolina to the late Charles and Sarah Spells. She was one of twelve siblings. She also attended school in North Carolina. In 1941, she moved to Montclair, New Jersey and in 1945 she relocated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she met the late Elder R.L. Brown. In 1950, she moved to Rahway, New Jersey where she was united in marriage to Elder Brown. In 1957, she was saved and filled with the Holy Ghost under the late Elder Robert L. Bragg. In 1959 she became a member of Gethsemane Church of God in Christ in Newark, New Jersey where she was loyal and faithful for 24 years. In 1983 she was reunited with Holy Mountain Church of God In Christ. Mother Brown served as the Sunday School Superintendent for ten years. She was predeceased by one son, Dea. Enice Bradley, Jr., six sisters and five brothers. Mother Eloise Brown leaves to cherish her memory: her loving daughters: Michelle Brown of Linden, NJ, Ann Brown of New York, NY and Teresa (Larry) Chambliss of Tallahassee, FL and a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends. Our hearts are sad since you went to be with the Lord. But we are trusting and praying that we will meet again someday. Now your work on earth is done, but your job in heaven has just begun. So sleep on Mother and take your rest we will see you In the morning. By: Mother Brown This Online Memorial has been created to commemorate the life of Mother Eloise Brown.
