GRATZ- Elsie S. Waters, age 76, of 100 S. West St. passed away on Monday, October 3, 2011 at the Harrisburg Hospital. She was born in Sunbury, PA, the daughter of the late Francis and Katie Snyder Oxenrider. She was retired from the former Muskin shoe factory in Millersburg. She was a member of the Millersburg branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Elsie enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with family and friends. She was the widow of Vinson Waters, Jr. Survivors include six sons Paul Oxenrider and his wife April of York, Reynold Waters of Gratz, Richard Waters and his wife Verda of Lykens, Timothy Waters and his wife Karen of Williamstown, Vinson Waters of Corvallis, OR, James Waters and wife Susan of Elizabethville, three brothers Almond Oxenrider of Klingerstown, Mark Oxenrider of Hebe, Carl Oxenrider of Selinsgrove, three sisters Eleanor Rebuck of Hebe, Helen Schreffler of Leck Kill, Nancy Wetzel of Williamstown, 25 Grandchildren, 13 Great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 8 from 10-11 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Klinger Road in Millersburg. Services will begin at 11:00 am at the church. Burial will follow at Calvary UM Cemetery in Wiconisco. Donations can be made to to her church Klinger Road Millersburg, PA 17061. Arrangements by Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home in Millersburg.
