Heiser, Elton Evans, Our Heavenly Father called Elton home on November 27th, 2011 from Northside Hospital. He was born Sept. 19th, 1934 in Far Rockaway, NY to the late Alfred & Frances Heiser. At the age of 9, he moved with his family to FL. He attended school in St. Petersburg. At the age of 19, he was lucky when he found the love of his life, June D. Murphy. The two were wed on Aug. 21st, 1954 and the Lord blessed them with 57 years together. He joined the US Army and served 5 years, 3 of which were in Germany. While in the service, he and his wife joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Upon returning home to FL, he helped build what is now known as the St. Petersburg Ward of the church on 62nd Ave. He worked for Honeywell in the aerospace division as an Engineer's Aide for 32 years. He is survived by his wife, his children, his grandchildren and his siblings. He was a loving father to 3 children, their spouses and their children: Frances (Adam) Drozdek, Matthew, Natasha, and 3 great-grandchildren (MN), James (Janice) Heiser, Scott, Allen, and Douglas and 4 great-grandchildren (TX), Charles (Karen) Heiser, Chad, Kyle, Cody and 1 great-grandchild (FL), his brother and sisters: Marion (Bill) Lester (FL), Edith Haggard (TN), Edna (Curtis) Faulk (AL), John (Miko) Heiser (VA). He will be dearly missed by them all.
