Bagley, Emline L.
On May 31,2012 the Angel of death touched and sealed the lips of our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, friend and neighbor, Emline Bagley. But in that same touch the angel of peace led her to higher grounds where she will forever be at rest in the Lord. Emline Bagley was born to Tom Lee, Jr. and Mattie Allen Lee in (Bossier Parish) Haughton, Louisiana, She was the eleventh of fourteen children. She attended Camp Zion School in Haughton, Louisiana. Emline professed Christ at an early age, and she united with Camp Zion Baptist Church in Haughton, Louisiana. Upon moving to Dallas, Texas she united with New Pilgrim Rest Baptist.Church under the Pastorate of Rev. G. T. Britt. In 1959 she united With Arlington' Park First Baptist Church under the Pastorate of Rev. H.W, Bell. She was:President of the Deaconess Gospel Chorus member, active with Mission I, and in charge of the Church's Food Service. In 2008 she united with The Antioch Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church under the Pastorate of Dr. Karry D. Wesley.: Emline was a devoted Domestic Worker for the: Walton S. Miller Family, rearing Sheralyn, Shawna, Rusty and David. She also worked for the M. Zelzer Family, rearing Cathy, Carol and Martha. Emline married Charles Jackson who preceded her in death. To this union two sons were born. Eddie and Robert E. Jackson. In 1959 she married Walter C. Bagley, he also preceded her in death. To this union one daughter was born, Jacqyln Rena' Herron. Emline leaves to cherish her memory: sons Eddie Jackson, Robert Earl Jackson Sr. (Gwendolyn); daughter Jacqyln Rena' Herron; grandsons, Eddie Dwayne Jackson, Robert Duane Jackson, Robert Earl Jackson Jr. (Shandricka); Rickey R. Herron II, Walter Carnell Herron, Malcolm X. V. Herron; granddaughters, Soporia Roland, Rhonda Daniels (Tony), Andrea Shaffner (Jason), LeShonda Jackson, Shunta Jackson, Tiara Durham; Nineteen great grandchildren; Two siblings, Easter Jackson (Ira), Willie Lee. A special friend for 51 years Elmer Jean Smith. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives, friends neighbors and families of faith who are special and dear to her heart. Emline Bagley was known for being one of the best cooks in Dallas.
