Emma Carranza Nares, 92, of Wilmington, California died peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on February 8, 2012. She was born on March 8, 1919 in San Bernardino, California. Emma is survived by her husband, Miguel Nares, five daughters & sons-in-law & one son. Sandra (Richard) Ponce of Norco, Sylvia (John) Sabo of San Pedro, Ramona (Raymond) Pimentel, of Wilmington, Lucinda (Florin) Pueblos, of Corona, Mike Nares of Long Beach, & Marina (Eddie "Butch") Woolem of Bellflower, CA. She was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in law, Elvia & Frank Califano & two grandchildren, Angel and Mark. Emma was the loving grandmother of 18 grandchildren & 22 great grandchildren. Also survived by 1 sister: Faye Rubio & 1 brother: Hector Carranza. Visitation will be on Monday, February 13, 2012 at All Souls Mortuary, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. with Rosary to follow at 7 p.m. at St. Peter & St. Paul, Wilmington. Mass will take place on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Sts. Peter & St. Paul Catholic Church, Wilmington, CA. Internment will take place immediately following at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA
