Emma Quintana-Deevy, 85, a resident of Port Saint Lucie for 38 years, departed this life Tuesday, July 26, 2011.

Mrs. Quintana-Deevy was born in Puerto Rico and moved to Port Saint Lucie from New York, NY.

Mrs. Quintana-Deevy is preceded in death by her sons, Juan Jose Vazquez, Luis Antonio Vazquez, and Hiram Vazquez; father, Juan Quintana; and mother, Maria Jacinta Rodriguez. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, John Deevy; daughters, Aida M. Rodriguez, of Greenacres, FL, Maria D. Catania, of Jupiter, FL, Emma Vazquez, of Jacksonville, FL, and Evelyn Vazquez, of Mesa, Arizona; brothers, Anibal Quintana and Jorge Quintana, both of Puerto Rico; sisters, Zoraida Quintana, of Dundee, FL, Carmen S. Quintana-Garcia, and Gladys Quintana, both of Puerto Rico.

Visitation will be held 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 28th, at Forest Hills Funeral Homes – Byrd, Young & Prill Chapel in Port Saint Lucie, where funeral services will be held 9:30 a.m. Friday, July 29th. Interment will be 12:45 p.m. Friday, July 29th, at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth.

Arrangements under the direction of Forest Hills Funeral Homes - Byrd, Young & Prill Chapel in Port Saint Lucie.
