COLUMBIA - Graveside service for Emma Laura Ball Gray, 87, will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2012, at Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends following the service at graveside. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family.
Mrs. Gray, wife of the late Cecil Olin Gray, died Sunday, January 15, 2012. Born in Phelan, Ark., she was a daughter of the late Homer Casell Ball and Victoria Everett Ball. She worked for Fort Jackson Federal Credit Union for 17 years where she was the head of the Accounting Department. She was a member of the First Church of God, Covenant Road.
Surviving are daughters, Rebecca G. Collins (G. Winston, Sr.) of West Columbia, Victoria "Vicki" G. Meetze (John C.) of Auburn, Ala.; grandchildren, Laura C. Gilliam of West Columbia,
G. Winston Collins II of Blythewood, Bryan C. Collins (Shauna) of West Columbia, Heather M. James (Mark) of Advance, N.C., Kevin R. Meetze (Kathye) of Millbrook, Ala.; seven great-grandchildren, Lacee, Shawn II, Jessi, Haley, Jordan, Nick, Ali; and one great-great-grandchild, Collin.
