Enoch J. Leroy-Bouhoulle, age 66 of Faith; passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital.

The Graveside Service will be held at 11:00am Saturday, August 3, 2013 at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery west of Faith with Fr. Jim Heorter officiating.

ENOCH J. LEROY-BOUHOULLE was born in Brussels, Belgium to Francois and Jeanne (Bouhoulle) Leroy. He spent his former school years in Belgium and worked for the Belgian Government in the Banking Industry as an accountant before moving to the United States. Enoch was married to Martine Kesstemen and a daughter, Laura was born from this union.

As a young boy growing up in Brussels; Enoch was very interested in the Cowboy and Native American way of life. He loved watching the old western movies and had many favorites. It was always his dream to travel to the United States and experience this lifestyle for himself. Finally, in 1980 he moved to the United States; settling in Faith SD; fulfilling his personal dreams to explore his interests. As a S.D resident he was able to fulfill another dream, which was to work as a police officer. He would often reflect and fondly remember his time as a police officer.

In 1988, he met and later married Mary Thin Elk. They continued to live in Faith since then.
Enoch enjoyed life and lived his dreams as he conceived them to be. He often would say that he had no regrets in life; he was a lucky man for realizing his dreams of experiencing both the cowboy and Native American culture, becoming a police officer, a United States citizen, and having a large Native American family. As an only child, Enoch wanted a large extended family with many in-laws, children and grandchildren and he was able to enjoy his many years as a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

Surviving family members include his wife, Mary Bouhoulle, Faith, SD; daughter, Laura Leroy, in Florida; son, Raymond Thin Elk, Bridger, SD; stepchildren, Florentine (Carlos) Picotte, Selfridge, ND; Theodora (Bennett) Belt, Bridger, SD; Jesse Janis, Dupree, SD; April Janis, Bridger, SD; Vanessa Janis, Bridger, SD; 19 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.

Enoch had a host of friends and will be greatly missed by many. Enoch's' special friends, Gordie and Kathy Collins, Mickey Haines, Gary Fisher, Dorothy Fisher, and Cheeto Mestes. He had numerous friends, to many to list and we apologize if we weren't able to list them.
