Eric Percival Coore, 87, a resident of Port Saint Lucie for 20 years, departed this life Wednesday, August 17, 2011.
Mr. Coore was born in Jamaica and moved to Port Saint Lucie from Brooklyn, NY. He was of the Christian faith.
Mr. Coore is survived by his daughters, Elaine Gutzman, of Brooklyn, NY, and Ann Coore-Scott, of Cary, North Carolina; sons, Pete Coore, of Virginia Beach, VA, Derrick Coore, of Jamaica, Leroy Coore, of Brooklyn, NY, and Lloyd Coore, of Chesapeake, VA; and 9 grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held September 24, 2011, 10:00 a.m. at Tiffany Hall Nursing in Port Saint Lucie.
Arrangements under the direction of Forest Hills Funeral Homes - Byrd, Young & Prill Chapel in Port Saint Lucie.
