Eric W. Stellhorn, 62, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2011 at his home in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, Eric worked as a serviceman with NIPSCO for 35 years, retiring in 2009. Eric was a avid golfer, Colts, and Cubs fan. He loved his family and lived for his grandchildren. He had a wonderful sense of humor and will be missed by his family and friends. Surviving are his wife of 39 years Karen Stellhorn of Fort Wayne, daughters, Jennifer (Joseph) Dunn, Shelly (Ryne) Rhoden both of Fort Wayne son, Andrew (Dusti) Stellhorn of Columbia City, step-mother, Elaine Stellhorn-Kline, grandchildren, Ashley Dunn, Hanna Rhoden, Landon Shenefield, Avery and Mason Stellhorn, 2 brothers, 7 sisters, 3 step-brothers and 2 step-sisters. Eric was preceded in death by father, Pinky Stellhorn and mother, Joanne Kohne. Service is 10:00 am, Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at D.O. McComb and Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Avenue with Chaplain Robin LaRue officiating. Calling at D.O. McComb and Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, Monday, April 4, 2011 2 pm - 5 pm & 7 pm - 9 pm. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne, IN. Memorials may be made to the Cancer Service of Northeast Indiana 6316 Mutual Drive Fort Wayne, IN 46825 or Heartland Home and Health Care & Hospice 1315 Directors Row Fort Wayne, IN 46808.
