Ernest Hill Harrison, 83, of Chesapeake, VA, passed away on March 31, 2011. He joined his wife Christine and his son James Ernest Harrison in Eternal Glory. He was born in Windsor, North Carolina and was the son of the late William Howard and Caston Elizabeth Harrison. He was a retired Sheet Metal Worker and attended Living Water Church of God in Chesapeake. Ernest is survived by his three children, Ernie and his wife Cindy of Virginia Beach, VA, Danny of Chesapeake, VA and Davy and his wife Cynthia of Chesapeake, VA; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Julie, Jeff, Steve, James and David; and one great-grandchild, Avery; his brother, J.A. and his wife Lilly Mae Harrison; and many good friends. The Rev. Jack Sawyer will conduct the funeral service on Sunday, April 3rd at 2 p.m. at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Chesapeake Memorial Gardens, 524 Cedar Road, Chesapeake, VA 23322.
