Ernest Lee Hatcher, 53, Liberty, MO passed away December 30, 2011 at his home. Visitation will be 9:00-11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 5 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1130 N. Clayview Drive, Liberty, MO with funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery, Liberty, MO. Ernest was born March 14, 1958 in Silver City, New Mexico to Fredrick Lee Hatcher and Karen A Cook. He liked to fish, hunt and work on cars. Ernest was preceded in death by his grandparents, his mother, Karen A. Cook and a sister, Vicky. Survivors include his wife, Ruby Hatcher; step-son, Shane Guthrie,; daughters, Amanda Hatcher and Karen Thomas; son, Richard Hatcher; fatherand step-mother, Fred and Debbie Hatcher; grandchildren, Michael and Emily; sisters, Mary, Patricia and Jennifer, half-brother Fred; step-brother, Michael and step-sister, Keyna.
