Ernest Robert Edwards, Jr.

Ernest Robert Edwards, Jr., age 61 a resident of 56 Burbage Road, Bath, NC died at his home after a long illness.

A graveside service will be held 3:00PM Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at the Edwards Cemetery in Chocowinity

Mr. Edwards was born in Beaufort County March 28, 1950 the son of the late Ernest Robert Edwards, Sr. and Mildred Hudson Edwards. He was a retired contractor and had owned Edwards Construction Company until his retirement. Robert as he was known by his friends and family served his country in the United States Army. He had a great love for fishing and hunting.

He is survived by two sons, Glenn "Junior" Adams of Grimesland and Robbie Edwards of Raleigh; three sisters, Irene E. Jones and husband Kenneth of Chocowinity; Nan E. Miles and husband Ralph of Belhaven; and Linda E. Keech and husband Terry of Bath; five grandchildren, four nieces and one nephew.
