Conte, Dr. Ernesto "Lulu", 80, Clearwater, Fl, died of natural causes on Monday, January 2nd, 2012 at Brookside Hospice of Palm Harbor.

He was born in Santiago de Cuba and eventually moved to Clearwater in 1977. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, as well as an admired physician, having practiced medicine for over 30 years at Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital. ~His music will live on.~

He is survived by his wife, Neida of 52 years and three daughters, Ana Marie Conte, Dr. Dolores C. Conte and Raquel Conte-Butler. Other survivors include a niece, Olga Conte Kemp; nephew, Luis Conte; sister-in-law, Olga Conte; son-in-law's, Juan Merino and Kenneth Butler; eleven grandchildren, Ashley, Catherine, Joshua, Juan, Mikela, Alexis, Bianca, Pedro, Ernesto, Ava and Delilah; one grandniece, Olga and two great grand nephews, Andy and Armando.

A public visitation will take place from 6:00-8:00pm on Thursday, January 5th, with funeral services to follow on Friday at 2:00pm. Both events will be held at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Point Road, Clearwater, FL. 33759. (727) 796-1992.
