Esta Linnstaedter July 1, 1918 - September 26, 2011 Esta Linnstaedter of China Spring passed away Monday, September 26, 2011. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 29, at Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Fiske officiating. Mrs. Linnstaedter was born July 1, 1918, in Stockdale, Texas, to Charles and Annie Bohmann. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Southwest Texas State Teachers College in San Marcos, Texas. She taught in National Youth Administration Centers and she taught most of her 29 years of teaching in the Waco Public Schools. She spent several years volunteering at Providence Hospital. She also enjoyed tutoring children at her home for many years, after retiring from teaching in public schools. She was a member of First Lutheran Church and served in various capacities of the church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Fritz Linnstaedter. She is survived by a daughter, LaNelle McNamara; a son, Don Linnstaedter; grandson, Jeff Linnstaedter and his wife, Dorie; and great grandson, Grant Linnstaedter; great granddaughter, Jordyn Linnstaedter; and a sister-in-law, Bernadine Cooper. She is also survived by her nephews, Robert Bohmann, and Gene Apple; nieces, Sandra Debner, Carole Reed and Connie Pressler. The family wishes to sincerely thank the following caregivers for their excellent love and care during this last years, Nireta Oliver, Mary Harper, Corylette Williams, Evelyn Persons and Julia Bryant.
