Estelita Manalang was born in the Philippines on January 5, 1934. She passed away peacefully in her new home in Moreno Valley, California on November 26, 2011.

The second child of the late Valentina Bruno and Felix Lising, she is survived by her husband Carlito Manalang, her daughter Grace Pulido, and her son Mark Manalang. She also has two brothers, Fred Lising and Ron Lising.

She was a graduate of the University of the East in the Philippines, where she earned her bachelor's in business administration. She worked at the Central Bank of the Philippines prior to moving to the United States in 1991, where she worked as an accountant for the Los Angeles Unified School District until her retirement in 2000.

Estelita loved to sew, took pride in her cooking, and was an avid gardener. She was also a devoted wife and a loving mother, with a sweetness and beauty like the roses and orchids she tended to in her home garden.
