MILLERSBURG- Esther R. Strohecker, age 66, of 194 Chelton Ave. passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at her daughter's residence in Halifax. She was born in Dauphin the daughter of the late Nevin and Esther Deitrich Snyder. She was a member of Landmark Apostolic Church in Danville. Esther worked at the Polk Foundation in Millersburg as a caregiver. Survivors include a son Chris Strohecker of Millersburg, three daughters Tammy Zeek of Boswell, PA, Teresa Casey of Halifax, Connie Kratzer of Elizabethville, 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, a brother Nevin Snyder. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter Sarah Seltzer. There will be a viewing on Tuesday, November 1 from 6-8 pm at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home in Millersburg. Services will be held on Wednesday, November 2 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens in Halifax.
