I always enjoyed Aunt Ethel and Uncle Arvin's visits to Dayton. They were special people, loving and nonjudgmental. They are and will be missed.

Mr. and Mrs. Brown were precious people, devoted to each other, and friends to all. They used to come early to each church service to hear the various singing groups practice. Mrs. Brown would share with me her early years growing up, what she did as a young person, the foods she ate, etc. She remembered "hard times" that were truly difficult. We used to talk about Mrs. Brown's beautiful long hair, which she always wore braided around her head.

It is a comfort to know she is reunited with her dear husband in Heaven, and that we will visit with them again someday. Thank you, Mrs. Brown, for the testimony of your life.

She missed Mr Brown so much that she almost always forgot what we were talking about, she knew she would be joining Arvin and soon.
