Ethel Esther Brown, 94, a resident of Albuquerque since 1949, left her earthly home on November 4, 2011. She is survived by her daughter Mary Swinney of Albuquerque; four granddaughters, one grandson, two great-grandsons, one great grand-daughter, one great-great grandson, and her sister Rose Wertz of Ohio. She was an active member of Bella Vista Baptist Church for more than 23 years. Ethel was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Arvin L. Brown in 1999, and her beloved son Joseph Edward in 1997. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd NE, 87107.
