Etta Louise Hillier, 73, of Virginia Beach, VA, died Sunday, October 31, 2010, at home. A Memorial Service will be held at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, 3600 Virginia Beach Blvd., Virginia Beach, VA, on Saturday, November 6, 2010, at 2 p.m. Born in West Virginia and moving to the Norfolk area as young woman, Louise earned a Master's degree in accounting at Old Dominion University. Retiring after more than 20 years of service at Tidewater Community College, Virginia Beach Campus, she was a Professor of Accounting and recognized as a Professor Emeritus. Surviving are her two sons, Bruce Hillier and Paul Hillier of Virginia Beach, VA; three grandchildren and her three best friends, Susan Dozier, Carolyn Mclellan, and Terry Deroche. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society would be appreciated.
