Eulalia Louise Radtke, 91, of Berrien Springs, passed away Monday, January 9, 2012 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph.

A Celebration of Life Eternal will be held 11:30 A.M. Friday at Christ Lutheran Church, 4333 Cleveland Ave., Stevensville, with Rev. Martin Measel officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Run Cemetery, Scottdale. Friends may call from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Thursday at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ Lutheran Bell Tower Fund or Hospice at Home. Those wishing to sign Eulalia's Memory Book online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com.

Eulalia was born March 15, 1920 in Cool Springs Township, Indiana to John & Elsie (Schmidt) Deutscher. She graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1938. Throughout her life she attended Trinity Lutheran Church in St. Joseph and was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Stevensville. Eulalia married Victor Radtke on December 12, 1937 in Valparaiso, Indiana. She farmed with her husband for many years, enjoying the outdoors while driving the tractor. She drove school bus for Lake Michigan Catholic for several years, was a member of the Tri-Unit Fireman's Auxiliary, and enjoyed her involvement with The Dashing Dozen Extension Group. Eulalia was an avid sports fan. Whether it was watching the Chicago Cubs or listening to any Lakeshore High School game, she rarely missed either.

Eulalia is survived by three children, Devona (Ralph) Dinges of Berrien Springs, Karen (Robert) Dixon of St. Joseph, David Radtke of Berrien Springs; her sister Geraldine Hacker of Berrien Springs; and her nephew Larry (Nan) Hacker. One of her greatest joys were her grandchildren-Kevin (Mindi), Daphne, Scott (Sara), Phillip (Rhonda), Todd (Carin), Krista, Drew (Becky), Matthew, Melissa (Christopher), Jonathan, Madeleine and Branden (Jackie); twenty-one great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Victor on May 17, 1997, and a nephew Daryl (Penny) Hacker.
