Eulogio T. Catabay, 57, of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2011, surrounded by his family. Mr. Catabay was born in the Philippines to Felipe and Elisa Catabay. He was employed with Usui International and was formerly a municipal engineer. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; four daughters, Meriam Bravo and husband Paolo, Yvette, Michelle and Samantha Catabay; two sons, Anthony and Richard and his wife Christie; three sisters, Rosalina Carolino, Imelda Panelo, Epifania Sencill; five brothers, Pangilalo, Modesto, Paquito, Felipe Jr., and Oscar Catabay; two grandchildren, John Paul Bravo and Ryan Mathew Catabay. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 9 a.m. on Saturday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Timothy Kuhneman. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, 1485 Kempsville Rd., Virginia Beach, VA, Friday 6 to 9 p.m. with a wake service at 7 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
