Eva Kate McAtamney, 84, of the 4600 block of Coronet Ave., Virginia Beach, VA, passed quietly Feb. 3, 2012, at SVBGH. She was born in Halle, Germany to the late Bernhard and Gertrud Wolff. Eva had worked as an Assistant to the area manager of the U.S. General Accounting Office. She was an avid reader and enjoyed the beach. Eva is survived by her husband, Charles; a son, Patrick and fiancée Maryann Bryant; two daughters, Kathy Riley and husband Tom and Sue Conyers and husband Nick; four grandchildren, Tim, Vanessa and Alex Conyers and Mederise Carter "Justin"; and a great grandchild, Carleigh Carter. She was predeceased by a son, Michael McAtamney. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. No services are planned at this time.
