You called me your 'other mother', I called you my 'bratty son'. You really were 'family' to me, you and Denise both, and, your real mom, Peggy. I feel I helped 'raise' you when Peggy lived so far away, and we both did a good job. You turned into a good man, but I give Denise a lot of credit for that, too. When I lived closer, we were all 'joined at the hip' for several years.

I will always wonder if you knew it might be the last time I'd see you on November 6th when I visited and you took the time to take me all over the ranch to show me every single improvement you'd recently made. I was so proud of you!!!
