Evelyn Bailey Smith

Evelyn Bailey Smith, age 78 of Warrenton, Virginia died on Saturday, July 21, 2007 at Inova Fairfax Hospital. Mrs. Smith had lived in Warrenton since 1988 moving from Gainesville, Virginia. She was co-owner of Ted's Tack Shack in Warrenton and was interested in the SPCA.

She was preceded in death by her son Dale E. Smith.

Survivors include her loving husband of 61years, Theodore M. "Ted" Smith; her niece Carol H. Smith of Lynchburg; her great niece Carrie V. Smith and husband of Wilmington, Delaware; two sisters in law Jean Mountjoy and Evelyn Lunsford and one brother in law, Howard Smith.

The family will receive friends at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas on Wednesday July 25, 2007 from 7-9 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Stonewall Memory Gardens.
