Eveyln J. Bradley was born in Middletown, New York 12/20/1951 and passed in San Diego on 5/10/2011......she lost her battle with cancer after 8 months.
Evelyn's career was as an RN for Sharp Home Health Care for the last 8 years. She worked as a LVN nurse for the majority of her adult life and put herself through college to get her nursing licenses. She worked full time and often worked two jobs to support herself and her children.
Evelyn is survived by three siblings, Debbie, Lemmie and Celeste Bradley, her daughter, Beverly Bradley and her son, Charles Scott. She also has six grandchildren Brian, Nick and Donovan Smith, Brishann, Moi and Chaya Scott and her four great grandchildren, little Brian, Brineisha, Alissa and Smith. Evelyn enjoyed the beaches of California, she studied drama and poetry in college and has collections of written short stories and poems saved in her journals. She also loved spending time with her close friends she loved to laugh and had an exceptional smile.
Evelyn was not only an independent woman, but self motivated and very outspoken. She was a tremendously strong woman, even during the last days of her life; she was still thinking about what was going to happen with her family once she was gone. This was a common theme in her life.... always taking care of people giving them everything she had .......a truly selfless woman...
